Inspired by local filmmaker Jem Cohen's film of the same name, This Is A History Of New York, this screening will present work in the tradition of NYC street photography. Focusing a lens on the ephemeral experiences of street life, a broader analysis of commercial forces and "urban renewal" programs will be put in context. Held in the engine bay of the Former Williamsburg Firehouse.
